Lenovo has added new Edge series to ThinkPad lineup that will come in 13-inch, 14-inch and 15-inch screen sizes. Along with new Edge series Lenovo has also updated T410s, T410, T510 and W510 notebooks with new Core i5/i7 processors. And lastly Lenovo has added AMD powered ThinkPad X100e to the lineup.

ThinkPad T410s: The updated laptop will offer Core i5-520M or Core i5-540M processor option, up to 8GB DDR3 memory, Intel HD graphics or NVIDIA NVS3100M, up to 250GB hard drive or 160GB SSD option, 14-inch screen (optional multitouch support), WiFi, Bluetooth, multitouch trackpad, 2-megapixel webcam, optional 3G with GPS or WiMax and integrated fingerprint reader. The T-410 measures 13.2” x 9.5” x 0.83” and weigh 3.91 pounds with 6 cell battery.

ThinkPad T410/T510: Will come with Core i5-520M, Core i5-540M or Core i7-620M processor options, up to 8GB DDR3 memory, Intel integrated graphics or 512MB NVIDIA NVS 3100M discrete graphics, up to 500GB hard drive (optional up to 128GB SSD), WiFi, Bluetooth, Optional 3G or WiMax, 2-megapixel webcam and multitouch trackpad. The 14.1-inch T410 will measure 13.1” x 9.4” x 1.08”- 1.25” and weigh 5.0 pounds. The 15-inch T510 will measure 14.7” x 9.6” x 1.4” and weigh 5.89 pounds.

ThinkPad W510: Will offer option of quad core processors including Core i7-720QM, Core i7-820Q and Core i7-920XM, along with up to 16GB DDR3 RAM, 1GB NVIDIA Quadro FX 880M graphics, up to 500GB 7200RPM hard drive (optional 256GB SSD), WiFi, Bluetooth, optional 3G and WiMax, 15.6-inch screen with optional RG-ph LED FHD for 95% color Gamut and 2–megapixel webcam. The W510 will measure 14.7” x 9.6” x 1.4” and weigh 5.89 pounds.

ThinkPad X100e: Is the new super thin and light laptop featuring AMD Athlon Neo processors. Processor option on the laptop will be Neo MV-40, Neo X2 L335 and Neo X2 L625. Other features on the laptop will be 11.6-inch LED backlit screen, up to 4GB DDR2 RAM, up to 320GB hard drive, ATI Radeon HD 3200 graphics, low light sensitive webcam, WiFi and Bluetooth. The X100e will measure 11.1” x 7.44” x 0.59”-1.16” and weigh 2.99 pounds with 3-cell battery or 3.3 pounds with 6-cell battery.

ThinkPad Edge: Is the new series added to ThinkPad lineup by Lenovo that will come in 13, 14 and 15-inch screen sizes. The Edge series will offer processor options including AMD Turion and Neo, along with Intel Core 2 Duo CULV and regular chips. Wireless connectivity will be offer via WiFi, Bluetooth and optional 3G. The newly designed laptop offers up to 8 hours battery life. The ThinkPad Edge 13-inch is available immediately and Lenovo will ship the 14 and 15-inch model in Q2 2010.

All the new laptops will ship on January 7th with starting price of $1,399 for T410s, $999 for T410 and T510, $1,599 for W510, $449 for X100e and $549 for 13-inch Edge. Engadget has posted review of ThinkPad Edge 13-inch and hands on preview of ThinkPad X100e.
