Dell’s next Android based smartphone was introduced at CES - the new Dell Venue. The Android 2.2 phone features a 4.1-inch AMOLED screen with curved Corning Gorilla Glass and 8-megapixel camera. The phone comes pre-loaded with Dell Stage user interface and various applications for entertainment and professional work.

The Venue features applications for music and books downloads, RadioTime for steaming radio stations and Stage software to displays your music and photos. It also comes with necessary business applications like ActiveSync and QuickOffice.

Dell Venue is an unlocked GSM smartphone that will be available without carrier contract. No word on price yet, but our guess is that the unlocked Venue will cost more than $500.
