CES 2012: Asus Shows Transformer Prime with Full HD Display, and Eee Pad MeMO with Stylus Support

And now at CES, Asus is showing Transformer Prime TF700T that makes good use of all the quad-core power of Tegra 3 with full HD 1920 x 1200 screen. The Super IPS+ LCD on the tablet is capable of playing 1080p video and games. Other features of the new tablet are 1.3GHz quad core processor, 2-megapixel front camera, WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS, microHDMI and microSD card slot. The rear panel of the TF700T is redesigned with plastic strip to enhance WiFi, Bluetooth and GPS signal.

The second tablet that Asus is showcasing at CES is Eee Pad MeMO ME370T that features a 7-inch 1280 x 800 screen, 1.2GHz dual-core processor, 5-megapixel camera, 1.2-megapixel front camera, 16GB or 32GB storage, WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS, microHDMI and microSD card slot. The tablet measures 7.8” x 4.6” x 0.5” and has a 4,400mAH battery for 8.5 hours battery life. The main feature of the new tablet is a capacitive stylus that can be used to take note and should be handy for writing down stuff.

The Asus Transformer Prime TF700T will ship in Q2 2012 priced $599 for 32GB model and $699 for 64GB model. The Asus Eee Pas Memo ME370T will also ship in Q2 2012, but there is no word on pricing yet. [Image Via AnandTech]
