Intel revealed the upcoming Core i5 based MacBook Pro in a promotional e-mail yesterday, but the company now claims that it was a mistake. And the January prize draw for Intel Retail Edge Program members is a HP Envy laptop and not a MacBook Pro. In an email statement Intel said:

“In our previous communications about the January prize draw, we got the processor right, but not the computer. When you pass this month’s trainings, you’ll be automatically eligible for 2 chances to win 1 of 2 HP ENVY laptops with the accelerated response of an Intel Core i5 processor. We apologize for any confusion.”

So now the question remains will Apple introduce updated MacBook Pro? According to our sources, we will see the updated MacBook Pros in just few weeks.
