Ultimate Ears has launched two new in-ear headphones for professionals. The Ultimate Ears 18 Pro and Ultimate Ears 1 Pro Custom Monitors are specifically developed for the most discerning performers and music listeners.

The Ultimate Ears 18 Pro uses proprietary six-speaker system, which delivers the headroom needed for stage use while optimally reproducing the total pro audio frequency range. Passive crossover technology electrically separates sound frequencies, so you hear clear vocals and instruments in the mid range, defined high notes along with a powerful, visceral low end all without masking and distorting what could otherwise occur. The monitors have three separate acoustically tuned sound channels that keep frequencies separate and balanced until they blend naturally in your ear. The Ultimate Ears 18 pro Custom Monitors provide -26dB of isolation and passive noise cancellation.

The Ultimate Ears 1 Pro has four speakers system – two for the right channel and two for the left. Ultimate Ears’ proprietary dual-armature, dual bore speaker system plus an integrated passive crossover circuit directs the low-end frequencies to dedicated speakers for bass and mids, and the high frequencies to dedicated speakers for treble, which results in evenly balanced frequency response. The Ultimate Ears 1 pro Custom Monitors provide -26dB of isolation and passive noise cancellation.

Ultimate Ears 18 Pro Custom Monitors will ship in February for $1,350 and Ultimate Ears 1 Pro Custom Monitors will ship soon for $450.
