On Wednesday, Apple released information that the company’s CEO Steve Jobs will be taking a leave of absence for health reasons till June end. This again started the speculation that Steve’s cancer problem has returned. Earlier this month Steve Jobs had said that hormonal imbalance was the root cause of his weight loss and he has started treatment for the problem. But in an email on Wednesday, he informed Apple employees that his health-related issues are more complex than he originally thought.
According to NY Times,  “Two people who are familiar with Mr. Jobs’s current medical treatment said he was not suffering from a recurrence of cancer, but a condition that was preventing his body from absorbing food. Doctors have also advised him to cut down on stress, which may be making the problem worse.”
Though Apple has not commented on NY Times report, but since early 2008 Jobs has been losing weight and it is highly possible that it is related to above mention problem.
