SecureMac Releases Free iWork Trojan Horse Removal Tool

Yesterday, we reported about pirated Apple iWork ’09 installer available on sites offering pirated software that is laced with a Trojan horse. The iWork ’09 download contains an additional package called iWorkServices.pKg, which is actually OSX.Trojan.iServices – a Trojan horse discovered by Intego.
SecureMac has released iWorkServices Trojan Removal Tool – a free utility that will scan and remove the iWorkServices Trojan from infected Macintosh Computers. So if you have downloaded the iWork installer from a pirate site we would suggest that you download this utility and run it, to make your Mac safer again. The iWorkServices Trojan Removal Tool is available on SecureMac’s website.
We would again like to advice our readers to not download software from unknown sources. A genuine copy of the iWork '09 is available on Amazon for $74 with free shipping.
