Nikon has introduced seven new Coolpix digital cameras in L, S and P series. The new cameras added are Coolpix L110, Coolpix L22, Coolpix S800, Coolpix S6000, Coolpix S4000, Coolpix S3000 and Coolpix P100.

Nikon Coolpix L-Series: The first camera added to L-series is super zoom Coolpix L110 that has 28mm to 420mm 15x Optical Zoom-NIKKOR glass lens. It comes with 12.1-megapixel sensor, 3-inch LCD screen, 720p video recording, 5-way VR image stabilization system, Smart Portrait System and Scene Auto Selector. The CoolPix L110 will come in red and black colors priced $279.95.

The second L-series camera Coolpix L22 features 12-megapixel sensor, 3-inch LCD, 3.6x optical zoom, 3-way VR image stabilization system, Smart Portrait System and Easy Auto mode. The Coolpix L22 comes in black, red, blue and champagne silver priced $129.95.

Nikon Coolpix P-Series: The Coolpix P100 features 10.3-megapixel backside illumination CMOS sensor and 26x Super Telephoto-Zoom Lens. It comes with 3-inch LCD, Electronic Viewfinder, 5-way hybrid VR image stabilization system, Active D-lighting, subject tracking, scene auto selector, Smart Portrait System, 10fps continues shooting mode and 1.1-megapixel 120fps Sport Continuous Mode. Nikon Coolpix P100 will ship in March 2010 for $399.95.

Nikon Coolpix S-Series: The S-series gets four new digital cameras starting with top of the line S8000 that Nikon claims is the thinnest camera in its class. It comes with 14.2-megapixel sensor, 10x optical zoom, 3-inch LCD screen, 720p video recording, ISO up to 3200, 4-way image stabilization, subject tracking, scene auto selector mode and Smart Portrait System. Coolpix S8000 will come in black, red, bronze and champagne silver for $299.95 in February.

The second S-series camera S6000 has same features as big brother S8000, but comes with smaller 2.7-inch screen and 7x optical zoom. It will ship in March for $249.95.

The third camera S4000 features 12-megapixel sensor, 3-inch LCD screen, and 4x zoom and 720p movie mode. Nikon Coolpix S4000 will ship in March priced $199.95 in plum, champagne silver, pink, red and black.

The last camera in S-series announced by Nikon is S3000 a budget compact camera. It comes with 12-megapixel sensor, 4x zoom and 2.7-inch LCD screen. There is no HD video recording in this budget camera that is priced $149.95 and comes in orange, blue, plum, black and champagne silver.
