Canon Introduces Two New Entry-Level DSLRs Rebel T3i and T3

Canon today announced the new EOS Rebel T3i and EOS Rebel T3 DSLR cameras. Complementing Rebel T2i DSLR, The new Rebel T3i, Canon’s new flagship Rebel, offers fun and easy-to-use features for beginning photographers, and the EOS Rebel T3 provides a more attractively priced option for those looking to experience the pleasure of shooting with a DSLR.

Main features of Rebel T3i are:

  • 18.0 MP CMOS sensor and DIGIC 4 Image Processor for high image quality and speed.
  • ISO 100 - 6400 for shooting from bright to dim light.
  • Improved EOS Full HD Movie mode with manual exposure control, expanded recording with new Movie Digital zoom and Video Snapshot features for enhanced video shooting options.
  • Vari-angle 3.0-inch Clear View LCD monitor (3:2) for shooting at high or low angles and 1,040,000-dot VGA with reflection reduction
  • New Scene Intelligent Auto mode and Picture Style Auto incorporating the new EOS Scene Detection System to capture beautiful scenes with ease.

Canon Rebel T3i will ship in the beginning of March priced $799.99 body only and $899.99 for kit version that includes Canon EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 IS II zoom lens. Canon Rebel T3 will ship by end of March and will be offered in a kit with Canon EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 IS II zoom lens priced $599.99.
