Sony Ericsson announced Vivaz pro today that adds QWERTY slide-out keyboard, while dropping few megapixels of the camera. According to Sony, Vivaz pro follows their new design philosophy ‘human curvature’, which mirrors the shape of the human body (from where do they get these ideas). The main features of the Symbian S60 based phone are 3.2-inch 16:9 wide touchscreen, 5.1 megapixel camera, 720p video recording, 720MHz processor, 75MB memory, WiFi, Bluetooth, A-GPS and microSD card slot (8GB card included). Vivaz Pro supports UMTS HSPA 900/2100 and GSM/EDGE 850/900/1800/1900, along with UMTS HSPA 850/1900/2100. Battery life on the phone is 310 minutes of 3G talk time and 440 hours standby. The phone measures 109 x 52 x 15mm and weighs 117 grams. Sony Ericsson Vivaz pro will be available in selected markets from Q2 in the colors black and white.
