Cambridge SoundWorks, a subsidiary of Creative, has released MovieWorks HD – an iPod dock and Creative Wireless Receiver that works with the dock. MovieWorks HD lets you upscale your iPod video to 1080i resolution for better viewing experience on high definition TV. It also transforms your stereo audio to DTS surround sound for better listening experience.
The MovieWorks HD uses Creative’s award winning X-Fi Xtreme Fidelity audio technology with built in X-Fi Crystallizer and X-Fi CMSS-3D technology. It lets you easily control your iPod content on your TV screen with its included wireless IR remote. In addition to connecting directly to your home theater, MovieWorks HD can wirelessly distribute music throughout home using the optional Creative Wireless Receiver.
The Creative Wireless Receiver simply connects to an additional entertainment system in another room of your home allowing you to enjoy you iPod music in multiple rooms. It can be controlled with its own remote to activate X-Fi Crystallizer and X-Fi CMSS-3D, adjust volume and music playback. MovieWorks HD can support up to 4 Wireless Receivers in 100 feet range.
