Adobe has posted a video in which Adobe platform evangelist Serge Jespers shows how HTML5 and Flash can work together rather than killing each other. In the example shown in the video above Serge uses HTML5’s geolocation feature to provide location information to a map application developed in Flash. He also shows the same application running on Nexus One.

With Microsoft also joining HTML5 bandwagon with introduction of IE9, HTML5 is gaining major momentum as it offer many of the same features as Flash, but promises to be less of a system hog. It is too early to say whether HTML5 will kill Flash or not, but HTML5 definitely offer some tantalizing prospects.
