Sprint announced Nexus S 4G from Google that will be coming to Sprint stores this spring and is available for pre-order today at Best Buy and Best Buy Mobile stores nationwide. Sprint describes Nexus S 4G as manufactured by Samsung, but packed with a pure Google experience using Android 2.3 Gingerbread. Hardware-wise the Nexus S 4G is very similar to the original Nexus S except it comes with 4G (WiMAX) network support. The phone has 1GHz Samsung processor, 4-inch Super AMOLED touchscreen, 5-megapixel camera, VGA front facing camera, 16GB onboard storage, NFC support, WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS and microSD card slot. On the software side the phone comes with Android Market, Google Search, Gmail, Google Maps with Navigation, Google Calendar, Microsoft Exchange support, Voice actions and YouTube. Nexus S 4G from Google will be available exclusively from Sprint this spring for $199.99 with a new two-year service agreement or eligible upgrade in all Sprint retail stores and Best Buy.
