Nokia today announced two new smartphones based on Symbian OS, the X7 focused on gaming and multimedia, and the E6 aimed at business customers. The Nokia X7 (image above) has a chassis crafted from stainless steel and glass, featuring 4-inch screen, 8-megapixel camera, 720p video recording, WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS and microSD card slot. The phone comes with Nokia Symbian Anna OS that pulls Facebook and Twitter updates directly to the homescreen, and it also comes preloaded with Galaxy on Fire and Asphalt 5 HD games. Nokia X7 will ship in Q2 2011, priced Euro 380 (about $550).
The second Symbian phone that Nokia announced today the E6 features 2.46-inch VGA touchscreen, full QWERTY keyboard, 8-megapixel camera, 720p video recording, WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS and microSD card slot. The handset comes loaded with Quick Office and supports Microsoft Exchange, Microsoft Communicator Mobile and Microsoft SharePoint. It offers 14.8 hours talktime and 31 days standby. Nokia E6 will also ship in Q2 2011, priced Euro 340 ($490).
