Intel and Nokia announced the MeeGo mobile OS at Mobile World Congress (MWC) this year. The MeeGo OS is a combination of Moblin OS from Intel and Maemo OS from Nokia. No other details about the new OS were released at MWC. However, now Intel has started revealing more information about the OS at IDF 2010. Yesterday, Intel showed the UI of the new OS for netbooks and smartphones. And today they have released two videos showcasing the MeeGo OS in action. The netbook demo shows an Acer netbook running MeeGo OS that has a tabbed UI with support for social networking and Intel App Store. In the second video Intel shows seamless transition of video playback from netbook to an HDTV and to a smartphone. Check out the video below.
