Aliph Introduces New Jawbone Prime Bluetooth HeadsetSubmitted by lalit on April 23, 2009 - 7:00am.
Aliph today introduced the third generation of its famous Jawbone Bluetooth headset. The new Jawbone Prime features improved noise cancellation using a new algorithm called jaw-based method. It also gets slight cosmetic redesign and brighter new colors. The new noise cancellation engine is designed to work better when the jaw isn’t in contact with the headset, which was the number one complain from most customers. Also the new engine does a better job at reducing wind noise that adds another 6dB to 9dB of outside noise reduction. The Jawbone Prime now uses Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR standard allowing headset to pair with two device like mobile and computer. The battery life on the new headset is 4.5 hours of continues talk time and 8 days of standby time. The Jawbone Prime will be available in seven colors including black, coffee, platinum, lime, red, yellow and lilac. Aliph will ship the headset on May 2nd, but you can pre-order them on Jawbone’s website for $129.99.
