MSI Introduces Two New X-Slim Notebooks X400 and X600

MSI today added X400 and X600 to its X-Slim laptop lineup. The X400 features a 14-inch screen and it weighs just 3.3 pounds, while the X600 comes with 15-inch screen and weighs 4.62 pounds. Making them one of the lightest 14- and 15-inch notebooks on the market. Both the models boast 16:9 LED backlit screen, full I/O ports and Blu-Ray support. The higher end X600 comes equipped with ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4330 discrete graphics card.

Hardware specifications-wise both the laptops will come with Intel Core 2 Solo ULV processor, up to 500GB hard drive and up to 4GB RAM. The laptops will use Li-Poly batteries and have optional 8-cell Long-endurance battery for X400 and optional 9-cell Long –endurance battery for X600. No word on pricing, but base models should range between $700 and $1,200. We should see X400 and X600 on market in second half of 2009.
