HTC Incredible has been in short supply since launch and now the wait time for pre-orders of the new device from Verizon has increased to 30 days. Verizon CEO Lowell McAdam revealed at Barclays Capital Global Communications, Media & Technology conference in New York that the demand for Incredible has been much stronger than expected, and the company is having a hard time keeping the device in stock.

McAdam blamed component shortage, specifically AMOLED screen supplied from Samsung for HTC Incredible shortage. McAdam said, “The Incredible has done very well for us. We could sell twice the number I have at this point.” He also added that Samsung is ramping up the AMOLED screen production, but Verizon won’t be able to keep up with the demand for at least next 30-60 days.
