Motorola will be adding two new Android phones to its smartphone lineup. Both the phones will be launched on Verizon in July and Verizon has agreed to heavily promote both the handsets this summer to compete against the upcoming fourth generation iPhone in June. Both Motorola and Verizon didn’t comment on the news, however, Motorola’s CEO Sanjay Jha said that more Android based phones from Motorola are coming.

We are almost certain that one of the two handsets will be Motorola Droid Shadow that features 4.3-inch WVGA touchscreen, 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, 8-megapixel camera, 720p video recording, 16GB memory and HDMI out. The second handset is rumored to be a budget Android smartphone priced below $100 after two-year contract and mail-in rebate. We should find out more about both the handsets by end of June.
