Verizon today announced the availability of BlackBerry Bold 9650, which was announced in April by RIM. The phone comes with 2.45-inch (480 x 360) LCD screen, 3.2-megapixel camera, 512MB onboard memory, WiFi b/g, Bluetooth, GPS and microSD card slot. The 9650 is a world phone as it has both EVDO Rev.A for Verizon and 2100MHZ UMTS/HSDPA for global roaming. On the software side the phone comes with VZ Navigator, BlackBerry Media Sync, BlackBerry Messenger, full HTML browser and support for BlackBerry App World. Bold 9650 measures 4.4” x 2.44” x 0.55” and weighs 4.8 oz. It has a 1400mAhr battery for up to 5 hours of CDMA talk time. The BlackBerry Bold 9650 smartphone is available for order online on Verizon today, and it will be in Verizon Wireless Communications Stores beginning June 10 for $149.99 after a $100 mail-in rebate with a new two-year customer agreement. A non-camera version of the phone will also be available for order online beginning June 3.
