Verizon Wireless and Motorola today announced the new Android powered global smartphone DROID 3. The new handset from Motorola is the world’s thinnest full QWERTY smartphone, and still delivers the power of a dual-core 1 GHz processor for fast multi-tasking. It also features 8-megapaixel camera capable of taking 1080p video, 4-inch qHD (960 x 540) display, 5-row QWERTY keyboard, WiFi, Bluetooth and microSD card slot.

DROID 3 by Motorola is now available on Verizon website and will be be available in Verizon Wireless Communication Stores by July 14 for $199.99 with a new two-year customer agreement.
