Video of Upcoming BlackBerry Storm 2 Posted OnlineSubmitted by lalit on July 23, 2009 - 11:15am.
Crackberry has posted a video of next generation BlackBerry Storm prototype in action online. The website says that the hardware is much nicer, the click screen is more user friendly and the operating system basically feels the same. The external design of the phone is improved with better battery doors and tighter buttons. The updated hardware is faster, with more memory and WiFi support (the OS doesn’t show it yet). It is highly possible that like iPhone 3GS and Palm Pre, the new BlackBerry will also use ARM Cortex A8 processor. On the software side the prototype device used OS 5.1, which showed slight improvement in overall touchscreen functionality, but nothing major. One major improvement that Crackberry noticed was more user-friendly click screen, which was highly criticized when the original Storm was released last year. It is rumored that BlackBerry Storm 2 will be released on Verizon later this year, till then you can enjoy the video.
