Apple and AT&T Preparing for Fall iPhone 5 LaunchSubmitted by lalit on July 25, 2011 - 5:48pm.
Both Apple and AT&T are planning for fall iPhone 5 launch according to various sources. MacRumors is reporting that Apple has starting recruiting extra part time staff for next two months. Arnold Kim wrote on MacRumors: We've now learned that at least some U.S. Apple Retail stores are also recruiting former employees to return as part time employees for Holidays, new Product Launches and Back to School time. A former employee received emails asking to return between August 15 and September 15th. Along with the above news, BGR is also reporting that AT&T has begun communicating iPhone 5 launch plans internally. Jonathan Geller wrote on BGR: We have been told that AT&T has begun informing employees across the company, and those who work in retail locations, to finish any sort of employee training as soon as possible. AT&T is asking managers to finish training in order to have employees available for the influx of foot traffic expected in September, a proven source has shared with us. If we look at both the news together it is very clear that both Apple and AT&T are expecting large foot traffic in stores for next two months and that only happens for both the companies simultaneously when iPhone is launched. Our sources say that we should get complete details about the iPhone 5 launch within 2-3 weeks.
