The highly accurate John Gruber of Daring Fireball whose many Apple predictions have come true in past few years has now posted that iPod touch update is coming very soon. While commenting on Dell’s new Streak, John wrote:

That’s almost twice as much as a good iPod Touch, and if you wait a few weeks to buy the Touch, you’ll get one with a Retina Display and dual cameras. If Dell can’t make an iPod Touch competitor, who can?

As we wrote few days back, we have also heard from our sources that iPod touch update with front facing camera for FaceTime and a 3-megapixel camera on the back is coming soon. So anyone who is planning to buy an iPod should wait till mid-September, as Apple is soon going to update the iPod lineup.
