Apple today started offering anti-glare screen option for 15-inch MacBook Pro also. Previously this option was only available for 17-inch MacBook Pro model. Customers can now select anti-glare screen while configuring their new 15-inch MacBook Pro on Apple’s website for additional $50. Apple describes the display option as follows:

The 15-inch MacBook Pro comes with a 1440-by-900 pixel LED backlit display. Choose a standard glossy display that lets you view graphics, photos, and videos with richer colors and deeper blacks, or an optional antiglare display.

We know many people who will choose anti-glare over deeper blacks, it’s almost impossible to work on a glossy screen in a well-lit area. One question remains why is Apple not offering the same option for 13-inch MacBook Pro model. We hope Apple starts offering this option on all the products including iMacs and 24-inch cinema display.
