San Francisco and Philadelphia, Two Cities with Worst AT&T 3G Network to Get Verizon LTE First

The top two cities with worst AT&T network are San Francisco and New York, but Philadelphia isn’t far behind (maybe in third place). And Verizon is making sure that everywhere people hate AT&T they love Verizon, by launching next generation 4G LTE network in two of the three cities by end of 2010.

BGR posted “We have been told that Philadelphia and San Francisco will be included in the initial 30 city LTE roll out later this year.”

Both the cities will be in the first group of 30 markets to get the superfast LTE network. Initially, Verizon will only use LTE network for data services via laptop dongles and MiFi routers, but the company plans to introduce handsets supporting LTE in first half of 2011, when LTE network will expand to more markets.
