MacRumors has posted images of retail packaging and disc for upcoming Mac OS X Snow Leopard. The images were sent to the website and depict Portuguese version of Snow Leopard. It was reported earlier this week that Mac OS X Snow Leopard build 10A432 has been designated “Golden Master”, which means it is ready to be released to manufacturing for public launch. It was also rumored that Apple is planning to prepone Mac OS X Snow Leopard release from previously announced September to August 28th. If the images are real, it means that Apple has already started mass production of Snow Leopard discs and the new OS should hit store shelves very soon.
