Yamaha the company known for its high-end audio/video gears has launched a new Blu-ray player BD-S2900. Compared to other offerings on the market, this Blu-ray player sets itself apart by offering high-end features like HD Audio Bitstream output, 24-bit Deep Color and it can also send 1080p at 24fps with audio signals like Dolby TrueHD and Dolby Digital Plus over HDMI cable.
The output options on the box include S-Video, composite, HDMI, optical digital, coaxial digital and 5.1 analog audio out. One interesting feature on the player is its ability to produce picture-in-picture if your Blu-ray disc supports that function. The BD-S2900 is available now for $1,200.
