NVIDIA released their cheapest 9-series desktop graphics card 9400GT. The new card has just 16 processor cores but the company says that it will have twice the performance of 8400 graphics card. The GPU engine on 9400 has graphics clock speed of 550MHz and processor clock speed of 1400MHz. The card will come with 512MB of memory that will have clock speed of 400Mhz, memory width of 128bit and bandwidth of 12.8GB/sec. The features supported by the card are PureVideo, PhysX, CUDA, HybridPower, DirectX and OpenGL. The 9400GT will come with dual-link DVI and VGA port for video output. It is shipping now for $59.
