Nikon has added six new cameras to CoolPix compact camera lineup including P7100, S8200, S6200, S100, S1200pj and AW100. All the six cameras will ship in September in preparation for coming holiday season.

Nikon CoolPix P7100 – It is Nikon’s flagship compact camera featuring 1/1.7-inch 10.1-megapixel CCD sensor, EXPEED C2 image processor, 7.1X wide angle optical zoom lens, 3-inch vari-angle LCD screen, ISO up to 6400, HDR support, 720p video recording and two command dials for fast access. The CoolPix P7100 will sell for $499.95.

Nikon CoolPix S8200 – It features a 16.1-megapixel back-illuminated CMOS sensor, 14x optical zoom, 1080p video recording, ISO up to 3200, 3-inch LCD screen and EXPEED C2 image processor. CoolPix S8200 will ship in black, silver and red colors priced $329.95.

Nikon CoolPix S6200 – It comes with 16.1-megapixel CCD sensor, 10x optical zoom, 720p video recording, ISO range of 80 to 3200 and 2.7-inch LCD screen. Nikon CoolPix 6200 will ship in red, pink, silver, blue and black colors priced $229.95.

Nikon CoolPix S100 – The sleek S100 comes with 16-megapixel back-illuminated CMOS sensor, 1080p video recording, 5x optical zoom, ISO range of 125 to 3200 and 3.5-inch OLED touchsreen. The S100 also features 3D-image recording capability, but it’s a namesake feature as the camera only has one lens. CoolPix S100 will ship in red, black, purple and gold colors priced $299.95.

Nikon CoolPix S1200pj – The camera feature a 20-lumen built-in projector that works with an iPhone, iPad and iPod touch allowing users to project images and movies stored on these devices as well as online content. Other features of the camera are 14.1-megapixel sensor, 5x optical zoom, 720p video recording, ISO up to 6400 and 3-inch touchscreen. Nikon CoolPix S1200pj will ship in black and pink colors priced $429.95.

Nikon CoolPix AW100 – It is a rugged compact camera that is waterproof up to 10m (33ft) and drop-proof from 1.5m (5ft). It features 16-megapixel back-illuminated CMOS sensor, 5x optical zoom, 1080p video recording, ISO up to 3200, 3-inch LCD and built-in GPS. The CoolPix AW100 will ship in black, blue and orange colors priced $379.95.
