Casio today introduced two ultra compact entry-level digital camera EX-Z280 and EX-Z33. Both the point-and-shoot cameras are small and designed for carrying in the pocket. The EX-Z280 is a 12.1-megapixel camera with Exilic Engine 4 image processor that is capable of recording 720p video. The camera uses 26-104mm lens for 4X optical zoom and has ISO sensitivity up to 3200. The Casio EX-Z280 will ship in September for $180.

The second camera EX-Z33 is a 10-megapixel camera with same Exilic Engine 4 processor, but it can record video at 854 x 480 resolution only. The camera has 3x optical zoom and ISO sensitivity up to 1600. The Casio EX-Z33 will also ship in September for $120 only.
