Information that iriver is developing an ebook reader was first published in July this year. Today, SlashGear has posted image of the new Story eBook reader along with partial specifications. The Story will feature a 6-inch E ink display with full QWERTY keyboard and memory card slot with support for up to 32GB card. The formats supported by the reader will include PDF, epub, txt, ppt, doc, xls and other eBook formats.

The Story will also feature a comic viewer and battery that would last 9,000 page turns on a single charge. iriver will join hands with Kyobo, the biggest book retailer in Korea and is in talks with content providers in US, Russia, Europe and Australia. The company should officially announce the Story eBook reader by mid September for around 350,000 to 400,000 KRW (about $300).
