Samsung today released the new DJ PMP (Personal Music Player) that comes with “Beat DJ” feature. Like the Beat DJ mobile phone Samsung launched earlier this year the new PMP will allow you to scratch records in real time on the touchscreen. It will also allow you to add your own voice and other sound effects to the music track. You can then save the new DJ track on the device or transfer it to your PC.

Samsung claims that DJ PMP is the thinnest and lightest multimedia player at 8.9mm (0.35-inch) with integrated DivX support. The player features a 2.6-inch touchscreen with Samsung’s TouchWiz user interface and Digital Natural Sound technology that offers highest possible sound quality, according to Samsung. The DJ PMP will be available later this month in 8GB and 16GB models. No word on price yet.
