Sony Ericsson today announced new Xperia arc S featuring 1.4Ghz processor delivering up to 25% faster performance that previous generation Xperia arc. It comes with 4.2-inch Reality Display powered by Mobile BRAVIA Engine, 8.1-megapixel camera with 16X digital zoom and Sony’s Exmor R image sensor.

Xperia arc S has 512 MB RAM and 1.4 GHz Snapdragon processor with the Adreno 205 GPU (based on the Qualcomm MSM8255 platform), and runs the latest Android platform version (2.3). Xperia arc S will be available globally in selected markets from Q4 2011, in the following colors: Pure White, Midnight Blue, Misty Silver, Gloss Black and Sakura Pink.
