Last month, Nokia unveiled its upcoming netbook Booklet 3G, however detailed specifications of the new netbook weren’t released at that time. The Booklet 3G is based on Windows 7 and Intel Atom processer with a battery life of up to 12 hours. The chassis of 0.79-inch thick netbook is made out of single piece of machined aluminum just like unibody MacBook from Apple and it will be available in three colors black, white and blue. The 1.6GHz Intel Atom processor uses Intel Poulsbo US15W fanless chipset for sleeker design. Hardware specifications of the netbook are 10.1-inch 1280 x 720 screen, 1GB DDR2 memory, 120GB hard drive, WiFi b/g/n, 3G/HSPA, Bluetooth, A-GPS, Accelerometer and 1.3-megpixel camera. Ports on Booklet 3G include one HDMI out, 3 USBs, headphone jack, SD card reader and SIM slot. The netbook features a 56.8 Wh battery and weighs 2.75 pounds. On the software side the Booklet 3G will come with Nokia Ovi services, MS Office, Internet Explorer, Social Hub and F-Secure Internet Security. Nokia plans to ship Booklet 3G by end of this year or early next year and the starting price of the netbook will be Euro 575 ($825).
