Pentax today unveiled two new compact cameras Optio RS1000 and Optio RZ10. The RS1000 comes with interchangeable, user designable covers along with 14.1-megapixel sensor, 28-100mm zoom lens, 720p video recording, 3-inch LCD auto face detection and 15 scene modes. Pentax Optio RS1000 will be available in black and white color in October priced $149.99.

The second camera Optio RZ10 is a superzoom compact camera with 28-280mm lens for 10X optical zoom. It features 14-megapixel CCD sensor, 2.7-inch LCD, 720p video recording, dual shake reduction, 16 scene modes, auto face detection and ISO range of 80-6400. Pentax Optio RZ10 will be available in five colors including black, white, orange and lime green. It will also ship in October priced $219.
