Image of iPhone 5 Mainboard Leaked and J.P. Morgan Analyst Claims Two iPhones ComingSubmitted by lalit on September 19, 2011 - 10:59am.
Chinese website Weibo has posted an image showing a mainboard with A5 processor on it. The website claims that the mainboard is for the next generation iPhone 5 and it does looks very different from iPhone 4 and iPad 2 mainboards. The image shows a 1430mAh battery, up slightly from 1420mAh on iPhone 4 and a wider mainboard than the one on iPhone 4, which would need a wider iPhone design, as has been rumored about next generation iPhone 5. In other iPhone related news, J.P. Morgan analyst Mark Moskowitz says that Apple will launch a newly designed iPhone 5, along with a second “iPhone 4-plus” device with some minor improvement that will target midrange market with focus on China. “The new iPhone 5 stands to be based on the iPad 2’s A5 processor or a newer A6 version,” Mike said. "We also expect 1GB of RAM to increase memory access times. Other improvements are increased battery life due to advancement in battery technologies, the printed circuit board (PCB), the touch screen, and LCD power consumption metrics." So now it looks like everybody is agreeing on two iPhone models coming this fall rather than the usual one new model. Let’s wait and see what Apple will announce.
