Yesterday, HTC officially announced their new smartphone the Rhyme marketed by HTC as the lady phone. The purple phone will have an optional “Charm Indicator” that glows purple when the phone is ringing. HTC says with the Charm Indicator you will never again miss a call because your phone is buried beneath lipstick and makeup kit inside you purse.

The other features of the phone are 3.7-inch WVGA screen, 1GHz single core processor, 5-megapixel back camera, VGA front camera, 768MB RAM, 4GB of onboard storage, WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS and microSD card slot. Even with its average specifications HTC Rhyme will be available on Verizon priced $199 with two-year contract. Pre-orders will start on September 22nd and the phone will ship on September 29th.
