Motorola Droid RAZR for Verizon and Atrix 2 for AT&T LeakedSubmitted by lalit on September 25, 2011 - 7:58am.
This is My Next has posted information about two major Motorola handsets coming later this year. The first and the most interesting handset is Motorola Spyder or Droid RAZR, a LTE handset that will come to Verizon. It is the first Android phone to feature 4.3-inch qHD (960 x 540) Super AMOLED screen, which is “wrapped in Gorilla Glass and a Kevlar casing with a splash-guard coating”, according to Nilay Patel on This is My Next. Other features of the new Droid RAZR will be dual-core 1.2GHz processor, 1GB RAM, 8-megapixel camera, 1080p video recording and HD front facing camera.
The second handset Atrix 2 is an update of current Atrix smartphone on AT&T, and it will come with 4.3-inch qHD display, 8-megapixel camera, 1GB RAM, 8GB on board storage, updated dual-core processor and microSD card slot (2GB card included). The Atrix 2 will have up to 8.5 hours of talk time and 15.9 days of standby time. Both the new handset will support Motorola’s new Lapdock 100 model that has slightly different design then the current version. According to This is My Next, the Lapdock 100′s description doesn’t mention any unique or new features, but there are a couple notable changes: first off, it’s 10.1 inches, down from the old model’s 11.6; hopefully that’ll translate to a smaller, lighter device. Second, it connects to the phone via a cable that reaches to the phone’s upper edge — the edge not laying face-down in the dock. In other words, you don’t simply press the phone into the dock to make the connection. Both Droid RAZR and Atrix 2 will be released in time for holiday season.
