Samsung has added two new phones to their Galaxy S II series for Korean market. Both Galaxy S II HD LTE and Galaxy S II LTE are LTE 4G handset featuring 1.5GHz dual-core processor, 8-megapixel back camera, 2-megapixel front camera, 16GB of onboard memory, WiFi, Bluetooth 3.0, NFC and microSD card slot. Both the handset are just 9.5mm thick making them one of the thinnest smartphones on the market.

The main difference between the two phones is their screens, the Galaxy S II HD LTE features first 720p screen (1280 x 720) on a device with screen smaller than 5-inch, S II HD LTE has a 4.65-inch Super AMOLED screen; on the other hand Galaxy S II LTE only has a 4.5-inch WVGA (800 x 480) Super AMOLED screen. The S II HD LTE offers 316 pixels per inch, slightly lower than iPhone 4’s 327ppi (iPhone has 3.7-inch screen), but really impressive on a 4.65-inch screen.

The Galaxy S II HD LTE will be available on SK Telecom, KT and LG U+, and Galaxy S II will be a SK Telecom exclusive in Korea. No word on pricing or launch date yet for both handsets.
