Samsung has announced the availability of Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 along with Galaxy Player 5.0 and 4.0 for pre-orders. The 8.6mm (0.33-inch) thin Galaxy Tab 8.9 comes with Android 3.1 Honeycomb, TouchWiz UX, 8.9-inch 1280 x 800 touchscreen, dual core T250S processor, 16GB or 32GB onboard memory, WiFi, Bluetooth and microSD card slot.

Both the Galaxy Player 5.0 and 4.0 come with Android 2.3.5, 3.2-megapixel back camera, VGA front camera, 720p video recording, WiFi, Bluetooth 3.0, 8GB storage and microSD card slot. The Galaxy Player 5.0 has a 5-inch 800 x 480 screen, measures 3.07” x 5.56” x 0.46” and weighs 6.42 ounces with 2,500mAh battery. Whereas the Galaxy Player 4.0 has a 4-inch 800 x 480 screen, measures 2.53” x 4.87” x 0.39” and weighs 4.27 ounces with 1,200 mAh battery.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 will ship on October 2 for $569 for the 32GB version and $469 for the 16GB version. The Galaxy Player 5.0 and 4.0 will be available starting October 16. The Galaxy Player 5.0 will be available for $269, while the Galaxy Player 4.0 will be available for $229.
