Western Digital Rolls Out 4TB Network Storage System for Small Offices and Homes

 Western Digital has rolled out ShareSpace network storage system in 2TB and 4TB capacities. The system uses Gigabit Ethernet for networking your small office or home network for centralized storage. The storage system comes with four hard drive bays and can be used as RAID system. The 4TB model is shipped in RAID 5 mode for maximum reliability, whereas the 2TB model is shipped in Spanning Mode for maximum capacity and the flexibility to add additional drives without reformatting the system.
The other features on the system are, easy setup and discovery, email alert, Microsoft active directory support, single push-button transfer, remote access, iTunes server support, built-in FTP and three USB ports. The 2TB system WDA4NC20000 is available now for $699.99 and the 4TB system WDA4NC40000 is priced $999.99 but out of stock.
