Apple to Release First Beta Build of Snow Leopard

AppleInsider is reporting that Apple is preparing to unleash first pre-release copies of Mac OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard since an inaugural build was issued to attendees during WWDC in June. Apple is planning to distribute the build to select few developers only. In fact, the group will be so exclusive that even members of Apple Developer Connection won’t see the new build. Though not much information is available about the new build, it is believed that the software has undergone a number of enhancements since its earlier appearance. Apple had announced at the WWDC that they plan to release the new Mac OS X 10.6 in first half of 2009 and it seems that they are on track to do that.
