OLED is the next generation of display technology and Sony is showing conceptual ways to use flexible OLED displays at CEATEC 2009 in Japan. Sony showed a prototype Vaio laptop that feature 0.2mm thin OLED touchscreen on both the screen and keyboard area. Sony also showcased an e-book reader with OLED screen and an OLED Walkman player that is wearable like a wristwatch. The prototypes shown by Sony were not functional and were sitting behind the plexiglass case, but they clearly showed where the next generation display technology would take us.
