Sprint announced the first Android phone for the network Samsung Moment. The phone features 3.2-inch 480 x 320 AMOLED touchscreen with slide-out QWERTY keyboard and optical joystick. Other features on the phone are 3.2-megapixel camera, WiFi, Bluetooth, A-GPS and microSD card slot. The phone comes with built-in Google mobile services including Google Search, Google Maps, Gmail and YouTube. The Moment measures 4.6” x 2.34” x 0.63” and weighs 5.67 ounces. Battery life on the phone is 5.5 hours of talk time. The phone will also support Sprint services like Sprint TV, NFL Mobile Live, NASCAR, Sprint Navigation and Visual Voice mail. Samsung Moment will be available at Sprint stores starting November 1st for $179.99 after a $50 instant savings and a $100 mail-in rebate with a two-year service agreement.
