T-Mobile announced that they are adding two new Android 3.2 (Honeycomb) based tablets to their mobile lineup. The T-Mobile SpingBoard and Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 will be available to T-Mobile customers in time for the Holidays.

“Our customers expect the ability to access and share content on the go at 4G speeds, so we’ve created a 4G tablet portfolio of 7-, 9- and 10-inch tablets with their busy, highly mobile lives in mind,” said Jeremy Korst, vice president of mobile broadband and emerging devices, T-Mobile USA. “The T-Mobile SpringBoard with Google and Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 are the perfect evolution of T-Mobile’s tablet portfolio, providing consumers with the right choice of tablet to easily look up a recipe at the grocery store, update social media sites on the bus or stream movies and music in the back seat of the car.”

The T-Mobile SpringBoard features a 7-inch HD display, dual core 1.2GHz processor, 1.3 megapixel front camera, 5-megapixel back camera, 720p video recording, WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS, 4G support (HSPA+) and SD card slot. The tablet comes with applications like Blockbuster on Demand, Netflix, T-Mobile TV, Blio eReader, MobileLife Family Organizer powered by Cozi, Slacker Radio and TeleNav GPS Navigator.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 will come with 10.1-inch HD display, 1GHz dual core NVIDIA Tegra 2 processor, 5-megapixel back camera, HD front camera, HD video recording, WiFi, Bluetooth, 4G (HSPA+), GPS and 16GB or 32GB Storage. The tablet will come pre-loaded with T-Mobile TV, Qello, Samsung Media Hub, Asphalt 6: Adrenaline HD demo, SIM City Deluxe demo, Blio eReader and Zinio.

No word on pricing yet, but as always these tablets will cost more initially and prices will fall drastically few weeks after launch, as has been happening to all the tablets except the iPad. So wait 6-8 weeks if you are planning to buy. [Via BGR]
