Along with new Windows 7 based systems announced earlier today, HP has launched three new entry-level systems under Compaq brand name. The three systems are Compaq CQ61z notebook, Presario 4010f desktop and 500B desktop. The Windows Vista powered CQ61z will come in piano black and silver finish. It will feature 15.6-inch screen with 6-cell battery. The starting price for the laptop will be $399 after $100 instant savings. The Compaq CQ61z will ship on October 18th.

The Presario 4010f is an AMD Sempron powered desktop with integrated NVIDIA graphics and 250GB hard drive for starting price of $309. The Compaq 500B series will have 500B desktop powered by AMD for $359 and the 505B desktop powered by Intel CPU for $409. Both the systems will use upcoming Windows 7 and will be available on October 22nd.
