JVC has unveiled their new small camcorder called the PICSIO GC-FM1 that will compete with camcorders like Flip UltraHD. The camcorder is capable of taking 1080p video and 8-megapixel images. It has a 2-inch LCD screen, 1/3.2-inch CMOS sensor, microphone, image stabilization, 4x digital zoom and SD card slot. It measures 3.8” x 2.1” x 0.7” and weighs 3.4 ounces. The PICSIO GC-FM1 can record 1080p video at 30fps and 720p video at up to 60fps.  It records the video in MPEG-4 AVC/H.264 format for easy sharing via iTunes or YouTube. JVC PICSIO GC-FM1 is available on Amazon for $179 in black, purple and blue colors.
