Nikon Officially Launches D3S Pro DSLR with 102,400 ISO Sensitivity

Nikon today upgraded it popular D3 Pro DSLR model and added 720p video recording and sensitivity range up to ISO 102,400 for improved low light performance. The new D3S is almost identical to the D3 model in shape, quality and operation, but it features new 36 x 23.9 mm CMOS sensor that is capable of taking 48 RAW frames in one burst.

Main features on the D3S are large pixel pitch 12.1-megapixel FX-format sensor, improved 720p D-Movie function, automatic sensor cleaning, new faster EXPEED image processor, startup time of 0.12 seconds and lag time of 0.04 seconds, 9fps continuous shooting in FX-format, 51-point autofocus, 3-inch 921k LCD screen and Twin CF card slots.
