Dell Adamo XPS Specifications and Demo VideoSubmitted by lalit on October 25, 2009 - 12:22pm.
Dell will start shipping the super thin Adamo XPS laptop later this year. Presently, Dell is showcasing the laptop to various media outlets. And even though Dell has not officially announced the hardware specifications, Engadget has posted specifications of the upcoming laptop. The aluminum-encased laptop will come with 1.4 or 1.9GHz Core 2 Duo Intel ULV processor, integrated Intel X4500MHD graphics, 4GB DDR3 RAM, LED backlit 13.4-inch WXGA screen and 128GB or 180GB SSD. The Adamo XPS will weigh 1.5 pounds and will be 0.39-inch thick. However, to make the laptop super thin Dell will be compromising on battery life, as the Adamo XPS will come with 20Wh battery, which is good for 2.5 hours of use. Dell will have an optional 40Wh battery that will last for up to four hours. The Adamo XPS looks very good when closed, but when it is opened the keyboard sits in an awkward position, making the laptop look very odd. We have added a video below showing the Adamo XPS in action. Dell Adamo XPS will be priced around $2,000 and should come to the market in November.
